الحالة If الشرطية First Conditional للمجهول:

الحالة الأولى من If الشرطية: وتستخدم للتعبير عن الأشياء المحتملة الحدوث في المستقبل، ويكون حسب القاعدة التالية:

لاحظ: إذا كان احتمال حدوث الفعل قوي نستخدم في جملة المستقبل (مجرد + will) أما إذا كان احتمال حدوث الفعل ضعيف نستخدم (مجرد + may/might).

تذكر: يمكن أن تكون If في بداية الجملة وعندها تضع فارزة بين الجملتين.

أما إذا كانت If في وسط الجملة فلا نضع أي فارزة.

لاحظ الأمثلة:

1. If is cold, I will wear a jacket.
2. If you watch this documentary, you learn something new.
3. You might catch the bus if you leave right away.
4. If you attend the lecture tomorrow, I will repeat the lesson.
