التشابه بين المضارع التام البسيط والمستمر

1. نستخدم المضارع التام البسيط والتام المستمر مع أفعال وحالات بدأت في الماضي واستمرت إلى الحاضر أو انتهى الفعل ولكن تأثيره مازال موجوداً الآن.

.I have been working all day

.Sally has been making a cake

2. نستخدم since وfor مع المضارع التام البسيط والمضارع التام المستمر لحدث بدأ في الماضي واستمر لحد الآن.

يأتي مع for مدة زمنية. مثلاً:

for two years

for a week

for 3 hours

يأتي مع since وقت بداية الحدث.

since 1999

since last week

استخدم How long للسؤال عن المدة الزمنية التي استغرقها الفعل.

?Ali: How long have you been waiting for me

.Osama: I’ve been waiting for you for 2 hours, since 7 p.m

استخدم المضارع التام البسيط مع أفعال الحالات وخصوصاً مع know, like, be, understand

.I have known Ali for 10 years

استخدم المضارع التام المستمر مع أفعال حركية.
